It’s chamber music but not as you know it. ACO Underground is the Australian Chamber Orchestra’s electro-infused spin-off band here to break tradition and take you on a unique sonic journey.

Founder, front-woman, violinist and singer Satu Vänskä, ACO’s Artistic Director Richard Tognetti, cellist Julian Thompson, Violent Femmes bassist Brian Ritchie and Midnight Oil guitarist Jim Moginie are a band that can make an ethereal hymn sound like a pop song or heavy metal sound like it was written in the 17th Century. It’s an unexpected and thrilling musical exploration.
