Point blank, Becky Lucas is a funny comedian. In these post-pandemic times, she has written a comedy show for you to enjoy – there will be no ranting, no political agenda, and she won’t pretend to be an expert on anything.

She simply wants four things: for you to get to the show on time, sit in the dark with other strangers, to have a laugh, and to walk away feeling good.

The Becky Lucas we know and love has a raft of accomplishments under her proverbial belt. In the last two years, she has performed her solo show at the Sydney Opera House, made her US TV debut on Conan and performed at the prestigious, invitation-only Just for Laughs Montreal Festival.

Becky’s razor sharp wit has made her simply unforgettable and resulted in her quickly gaining notoriety and recognition on the comedy scene. She has since performed solo shows to sold out crowds across Australia, New Zealand and also overseas at the notorious Edinburgh Fringe.

This year Becky joined Hughesy, We Have a Problem, and hosted the prestigious 2021 Oxfam Gala for the opening of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival on ABC TV. She was also a regular panellist on The Hundred with Andy Lee. She released her debut novel Acknowledgements through HarperCollins, and continues her cult podcast The Becky & Cam Hotline with her real-life BFF and fellow comedian Cameron James, which is streaming now on Apple and Spotify.

Last year she appeared on the Australian Lockdown Comedy Festival on Stan, Drunk History on Ten, ABC iView’s Home Alone Tonight hosted by Ray Martin, and Amazon Prime’s Last One Laughing with Rebel Wilson. In recent years, she’s also been seen on ABC TV’s Comedy Up Late during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, doco Big Bad Love, The Comedy Channels Best of the Sydney Fest, JFL’s The Stand Up Series, ABC’s Fancy Boy, Ten’s Hughesy We Have A Problem, NZTV 7 Days, and Seven Network’s Orange is the New Brown. 

As a writer, she co-wrote for Matt Okine’s comedy The Other Guy on Stan, and Josh Thomas’s Emmy-nominated show, Please Like Me.
